Got to Karanlik Canyon and the road was closed, I guess for cars cause I was able to squeeze my bike through and continue on the narrow road with tunnels alongside the ri er. At the end of one tunnel there were a few cones and that was the end of the road as it was washed away with a 45 foot drop.
So I backtracked to the other end of the tunnel in Kemaliye which took just over an hour and was able to enter and drive about 6km to the end of the road again where there were a few cones.
On the way here passed through some town close to the Syrian border that were shaken by the earthquake on the 6th of February and below are some cars that have been set in a storage area. There are huge vacant areas where buildings once stood and in one town there were hundreds of abandoned buildings that were still standing but severely damaged.
