After the ferry hoax I went and got a sim card ($52 for 20GB) and then headed north for 230km's to Namrut Dagi which is at about 7000 feet. I hiked the last 600 metres to see the statues from 10 BC.

The race was postponed three times and finally got going at 1pm, only two laps, but the track is 37.7 miles long.

TRoads are good and was able to get here in good time, people drive well and pull to theside so you can overtake. Staying at Hotel France ...
