BOSNIA - SARAJEVO DAY 288 + 289

SATURDAY 30 SEPTEMBER 2023

Visited the Bosnia Pyramid of the Sun which was discovered in 2007, but looks like a hillside which is covered with trees and bush. Did the tunnel tour which was disappointing. 

Sarajevo is a tiny capital city, a lot of the buildings still have some scars from the  92- 95 war. Walked around the old town which was a waste of time.

    SARAJEVO

    This is the pyramid and that is not rock, but is man made which is stronger than concrete and apparently covers the entire pyramid.

SUNDAY 1st OCTOBER 2023.   DAY 289

Went to The Tunnel of Hope which was a tunnel that was a lifeline to Sarajevo during the war which ran under the airport and the main supply line to the city. 

   The room.

    The huge shower has 2 shower heads, and the water is scolding hot.
