TIRASPOL TO CHISENAU, MOLDOVA. DAY 262 122km.

Rode N to see how the land lies, the roads are old and bumpy ,got up the next town and it was even more depressing than Tiraspol. Took the next road to the border where they harassed me again and took my time and jacked with them but it zinged over their little Russian head. The woman yelled at me to get out of her office , it was so much fun with this country with a Napolean complex.

Was happy to be out of there and into Moldova which is 'modern' and civilized. Found a nice place which has rooms and secure parking ąnd real friendly owners.
The area, country, is known for wines and they have the biggest winery in the world, 1.7 million bottles stored along 54km of underground tunnels, and a total of like 200kms of tunnels in an old limestone mine that you drive around in at the Milestii Mici Winery.
