PRISTINA, KOSOVO to SKOPJE, NORTH MACEDONIA. DAY 268. 96km. 10-9-23

Left Pristina for Skopje and had no problem exciting Kosovo, they stamped me out and didn't even look for the entry stamp like most countries.

NorthMacedonia retired €50 insurance and that was it, a quick crossing and had a Cappucianoin both capitals within two hours. Parked my bike and walked around Skopje, they have hundreds of statues everywhere , they don't have much else except for the river that runs through it.

Continued on SW for about 200kms to Ohrid which shares a lake with Albania. Found a nice room at a place owned by a bike enthusiast which is in walking distance of evrything. The room is nice and spacious on the first floor , a little noisy till 11pm but perfect location.

    Had to wait for my room to be cleaned so enjoyed a local beer.

Enjoyedthe day walking along the lakeshore to the iconic church and relaxed at the lake and swam in  the refreshing lake water, felt so good and the weather is perfect at 26*C.

Tomorrow I am going to head to Greece, i am right at the border of it, so should be a long interesting day.
