Day 8 NAMBIT CAMP to SESRIEM 298km

With the relentless gusting wind all night, it was an early start to the day, somebody never packed my cup in, so no coffee for me.
On the way out came across a herd of Ornynx in the very with a couple of Springbok skirting around. The red sand road was a pleasure to ride but it that soon ended and it turned to sharp river rock the rest of the way. These roads are eating up my tyres. It only took four hours to Sesriem with a slight breeze but nice and sunny and blue skies.

The C27 road to Sesriem.  Same spot all 3        pictures .

If you go on YOU TUBE  search   Roy Cape to Cairo and the videos show the views much better.

Checked in at the Oasis camp sit, really nice each site has a structure with a paved seating area with the ablutions. What blows me away is non of the campsites have a table or any seating and the showers have no place to put your soap or mark which is hot or cold water. You waste so much water trying to figure it out, it's pitiful as they have no water to waste.
