CORFU TO ALBANIA DAY 277

Last night slept on the beach just on my mattress, didn't bother withthe tent. I had just dozed off and then heard something behind me and I looked back and two feet behind me there was a woman standing there, she had no clue I was laying there as I was right besides a beach longer bed on the sand. She almost jumped out of her skin when I greeted her and asked if I was sleeping there and then left. Story of my life.

Left before the sun came up androde north but the roads are tough to find to get to the beaches and just got tired ofteying to find my wayarpund so headed Corfu Town and got a ferry ticketto Albania. Had three hours before the ferry departed at 2pm, so went downtown and went for a swim and walked around but is chocka block with tourists, there were four cruise ships inthe harbour ! With 15 million visitors a year it's tough to find a friendly Greek, they can't even enjoy their own beaches anymore even with 13K km. of coastline.
Arrived in Albania and then rode the beautiful coast road which is high up in the mountains but a good windimg road witha huge pass that climbs to over 3K feet. Found a place that they allowed me to camp but has no ablutions, so hope that doesn't become a problem.

    Corfu Town.
